With mixed emotions, we would like to inform you that Fectar has decided to discontinue support for the Microsoft HoloLens. In the coming period, we will also remove the HoloLens from our website and communication channels.
While the HoloLens has been a remarkable and groundbreaking AR device — and literally stood at the cradle of Fectar’s creation — it has become increasingly challenging to maintain stable compatibility with the latest versions of Fectar and Fectar Studio (including AI enhancements and more).
To ensure we continue to offer you the best possible experience, we are focusing our efforts entirely on platforms that better support the rapid technological developments in XR. As a result, the Fectar version for HoloLens will no longer be maintained.
It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell to a device that has meant so much to us. At the same time, we are excited to move forward, embracing new and more powerful possibilities in XR across smartphones, tablets, VR headsets, and next-generation XR glasses.
