The default icon for a collection is not very distinguishable among other collections. In order to make the collection more recognizable, not only the name can be customized, but also the icon.
In order to give the collection a custom icon in the file manager, select the collection. Next click the “Attach preview image” button on the right hand side of the screen (just below the preview).
An upload dialog appears that allows you to upload a custom image for this collection:
Upload an image by dragging an image file onto the dialog or by clicking the “choose a file” text.Next click ‘Attach” to replace the icon with a more recognizable image.
Previews of GLTF or AI Avatar files can be saved by clicking on the preview image with the right-mouse button. This image can then be re-used for giving a collection a custom appearance.
