Fectar included in the list of 100 most promising start-ups in the Benelux

Fectar, a leading Metaverse Creator platform for Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), has been included on Dealroom.co’s list of the top 100 most promising start-ups in the Benelux region. The list, compiled by the international data platform, takes into consideration factors such as fundraising, growth indicators, the founding team, and more.

Fectar, founded in 2018 by Eugène Kuipers and Rens Lensvelt, has made a name for itself in the fields of education, construction, and retail through its innovative use of AR and VR technology.

The platform recently made headlines for hosting the first VR/AR app with a hologram for demining education in Ukraine.

The Fectar app is compatible with AR on phones from 2015 and 2016, and can also be viewed in a 3D viewer on phones as old as 2010.
